Here at GuideU we offer three separate, yet complementary services, - academic, college, and career counseling. All of these services are comprehensive and individualized with the intention of GuidingU or your child towards academic, college, and/or career success.
Academic Counseling

Provide individualized, subject-related tutoring

Personalized tutoring for students with special needs (e.g. teaching study skills, organizational skills, goal setting, and/or time management)

Construct and edit academic papers
College Counseling

Aid students in the development of individualized and need-specific college lists

Guide and mentor students in the creation of college essays, supplemental essays, and/or personal statements

Advise students on the application process from start to finish (e.g. determining when to apply, aiding them in answering CommonApp, Coalition, and/or school specific applications)
Career Counseling

Develop interview-winning resumes and cover letters

Provide mock interviews and assistance in preparing for the interview process

Conduct career assessments to identify areas of interest and engineer an action plan for securing your dream job / internship
